I use digital technology in three areas in my life: home, school, and when I go out. Sometimes, there have been some beneficial aspects of digital technology and there are the disappointing shortcomings that go along with them. At home, I can watch television, go on the computer, or play video games. I have loved watching television all my life since I was younger; I love to watch my favorite shows and movies each time they come on. The one thing I do not like about television is when there is nothing good to watch and that’s when I go and play video games but they also get tiring on several occasions.  Everyday, I use different kinds of digital technology on certain levels and there are those time when I become disappointed over their flaws.

I use digital technology for other purposes, such as my iPod touch; it’s not just for listening to music, but it also has so many different Apps for almost about anything. My Android phone also has different Apps for just about anything, but I hardly use them. For school or college, I use the computers they use at the campus, and also, I use the printers for certain scenarios. Nowadays, people use their laptops and other handheld portable devices for school and work. Personally, I’d prefer using a pencil and a tiny notepad because they’re compatible and you can keep all your notes in them for when you can’t remember what’s your assignment. But I do use certain kinds of digital technology such as a digital calculator for Algebra and I always wear a digital watch to tell what time it is. Sometimes, I use my cell phone to make personal phone calls and I carry my iPod to listen to my music while I work. I even use my iPod Touch to check my emails, go on Facebook or Twitter, and Google stuff.

I love using digital technology for certain occasions and I’ve grown addicted to certain devices. Over the past few years, I’ve had an iPod, a cell phone, and a computer; they do have their perks but they can have their shortcomings as well. When I was in school, I used to always wear a digital watch everyday since I was in Junior High. The problems I’ve had with my digital watches is when the wrist band keeps breaking off and I had to buy a new watch. In school, I always used the computers in the class rooms and the library for when I had to do a term paper and I had to do a little research on certain topics. There have been problems with the search sites I go on; sometimes, it’s not the information I needed and sometimes, the computers don’t work properly.  This year, I got a laptop and I love it. For the past few days, I have used my laptop to check my Facebook status or look on my Twitter; I even use it to write my screenplay and play games as well. I might not know the other qualities of digital technology, but I am willing to find out.

“Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what to do. Attitude determines how well you do it.”

In my opinion, I believe this quote has to deal with the aspects on how we are capable of doing anything as long as we set our minds to it. It is up to you to decide what you want to do with your life and to do with the best of your abilities. Anything is positive as long as you maintain a positive attitude.

Hello, my name is Richard Gabriel Jaime and I have lived in Arizona for all my life. I am the youngest son of Sarah Ann Jaime and I’m also the smartest of my siblings. I was born on August 25, 1991; I’ve lived in Tacna, AZ for almost twenty years and I recently moved to Wellton, AZ in 2012. I am also an artist; I draw mostly superheroes and I have quite a talent for it. I attended Mohawk Valley School back in 1997 and I’ve moved up to Antelope Union High School in 2006. I’ve been an honor student since my freshmen year at Antelope and was inducted into National Honor Society in my senior year. I graduated from Antelope Union High School in 2010 and I’ve been living at home since then. I live with my mom, I’m unemployed, and I’m recently attending a couple of classes at the AWC Wellton campus in Coyote Wash. I’m hoping to be a full-time student next semester.

This is my first blog and I don’t know what I am doing. So, let’s keep this short and simple because this is my first time.

My name is Richard Gabriel Jaime and I’ve lived in Arizona for almost my whole life. I was born on August 25, 1991, I’m the youngest of three, and I have a medical condition called ADD, which stands for Attention Deficit Disorder. I have lived in a small rural community know as Tacna for about twenty years and I eventually moved here in Wellton last year. I’m 21 years old, I live with my mom, and I’m currently unemployed. I attended Mohawk Valley School back in 1997 and I moved up to Antelope Union High School in 2006. I graduated from Antelope in 2010 and I’ve been living at home for about four years. I am currently enrolling in Arizona Western College, or at least enrolled in a couple classes at the Wellton campus in Coyote Wash.

To be honest, I don’t know what I am doing right now, but I am making it up as I go along.
